I am a genuine oatmeal cookie monster... I only counted, and as of January 2018, I've shared 47 oatmeal cookie recipes with you. Eep! Have you ever tried any of these yet? (? You can find all of my oatmeal cookie recipes directly there!) They're a few of the most well-known recipes on my blog because they taste very sweet and comfy, just like traditional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they include no refined flour or sugar!

So you are going to start with whole wheat bread (or gluten free, if you like ) and immediate oats (like those... or those for a gluten-free edition!) . Immediate oats are thinner and smaller than traditional rolled oats, also you are able to locate them at canisters right alongside those classic oats at the grocery store.

I probably seem like a broken record by now... But cause I ? you and want your cookies to flip out totally plump and soft, I'm reminding you ... Measure your flour and oats properly, using this technique or a kitchen scale! (? That is the one I own and adore. A lot of either ingredient is likely to make your cookies taste cakey or sterile, rather than chewy. This is particularly true of this oats--that they behave like little sponges and consume plenty of moisture from the cookie dough!

Ripe bananas- perfect for baking! Really like all of @amybakeshealthy's yummy & wholesome banana recipes!

See those bananas? And all those brown spots? If it comes to baking bananas, brown = beautiful! I ? additional speckly bananas cause they've a lot bright, bold taste --and extra sweetness! That is the minimum amount of brown that I recommend. More is even better!

The remainder of the cookie dough's sweetness comes from a different organic ingredient... Pure maple syrup (like this!) . You would like the kind that comes straight from pine trees, which is usually sold in skinny glass jars or squat, round plastic jugs. Skip the pancake syrup and sugar-free syrup!

The peppers include much more sweetness! The freshly bought, additional plump, perfectly soft ones are perfect... But for those who have older, somewhat dried out raisins (hmm... it sounds silly to describe dried fruit as dried outside! ) , that's okay!

Simply add them to a microwave-safe bowl, and put water on top until they're completely covered. Seal plastic wrap over the top, and microwave the bowl on high for 1 second. Should you allow the peppers sit mixing together the cookie dough, then this small trick hydrates them so they're exceptionally juicy--and that makes a huge difference in these cookies once they're baked!

Yields: 15 biscuits

The recognizable cozy spices and plump blueberries make them even more irresistible. They will keep for a minumum of one week if stored in an airtight container in the fridge --should they last that long!

1 cup (100g) instant oats (fermented if essential and quantified like this)

Notes: It is extremely important to quantify both the oats and flour properly using this technique or a kitchen scale. (? That is the one I own and enjoy!) Too much of either can dry out the biscuits and leave them cakey rather than chewy.

Immediate oats are also known as quick-cooking or minute oats. They come in massive canisters, just like old-fashioned oats. They're not the ones in the tiny flavored packets of oatmeal. To make your own, include the same amount of old-fashioned yogurt into your food processor, and pulse 10-12 times or until the oats are approximately 1/4 to ? of their initial size.

For the fermented flour, I recommend the following blend: 1/2 cup (60g) millet flour, two tbsp (15g) tapioca flour, two tablespoons (15g) brown rice , as well as 1/2 tsp xanthan gum. Most store-bought gluten-free flour blends (like that one!) Will also do the job, if quantified like this.

For the best results, use the ripest and spottiest bananas you can find!

In case your pancakes are mature, dryer, and not very plump or succulent... Add them into a microwave-safe bowl, and put water at the top till they're totally covered. Seal plastic wrap over the surface, and then microwave the bowl my response on high for 1 second.
